The rules of #EarthBound are simple and are as follows:

• Limit your swearing and vulgarity. We have a filter that catches most of the words we don't like to see, but if an op (the guys with the @ by their name) tells you to cut something out, it's in your best interest to do so.
• Do not be a jerk. This includes harassing and insulting other chatters. Treat everyone with respect, or you will be removed.
• Do not be an idiot, either. If you're angering the majority of the channel with excessive stupidity, you will be removed.
• For the time being, do not discuss Mother 3, and do not reveal spoilers, as many people still haven't played the game. Spoiling, especially, will result in an immediate ban.

Special note about getting kicked from a channel: It's not the end of the world! Kicks are meant to be a somewhat forceful reminder of the rules of the channel. Complaining about just a kick to the OPs annoys them and the chatters in the channel, and risks getting yourself banned.

Is there a chatter harassing and insulting you, or others? Is someone being an incredible annoyance and angering everyone in the channel as a result? Is someone breaking all the rules, just because there's no OP around?

No longer a problem! Send a PM to Coreyback, along with a log of the offending chatter and their actions, the timeline, and all idling OPs that were in the channel, and something WILL be done. Your grievance will be completely annonymous, and the situation taken care of. Chatting is fun, help keep it that way.
