Hello. Is the topic "How many of you have played and beaten Mother? Your thoughts?" ? I'm not sure, I've never messed with the mailbag. Oh well, here it goes.

No, I've never played Mother, and I've never visited Japan to buy Mother either. The graphics look very strange, so even if it was possible for me to get Mother, it probably has a collector value of $1,000,000 or something, so I wouldn't buy it anyway. Sorry dios, but there's my contribution :D

Mother doesn't cost that much, (guru got it for like 7 bucks off eBay,) but what we're talking here is EarthBound 0, the fanslation (hey I made up word) of Mother. Wait, it was already translated, sorry. Looks like my use of the word 'fanslation' was innapropriate, as nothing was fanslated. Fanslate.

I would never advocate ROMs, unless i was feeling particularly hypocritical, but there are other ways of playing Mother...Oh well. I've never played it either. Random battles make my feet sad.

They're too big, and won't open up in IE. .bmp's are not cool. You can find stuff on converting them here. Don't bother, though, cause we all know they're not gonna get posted anyway. That reminds me, I'll have to convert that page.

I have not actually played through and beaten mother. The only reason I have refrained from indulging in such an experience is because I have been informed that the random battles are less than enjoyable, and I prefer RPG's with less of an arbitray element. However, i will eventualy download an NES emulator and search out mother, so I can truly render a decision.

However, I'm sure dios expected something much more random and less eloquent than this, so i shall rectify my mistake:
