This week's mailbag topic:

Which SM.net sections do you wish had more content?

It was gripe week basically, but you all were very tasteful in what sections of the site you felt needed more content. On with the letters!

I think the section that needs an overhaul is the Mailbag section. Right now, it's just sort of people saying what they think. Where's the fun in that? Back when dios ran it, there were as many sarcastic/funny letters as there were serious ones. And start attaching names to the letters again! Anonymity is useless in a letters page. If people wanted to be anonymous, they'd vote in the polls.



I admit I don't have the WIT and "WHIMSEY" that dios had in his random Mailbag updates (as you can tell from my terribly unclever title), but letters are only as funny as people make them as well. And as for anonymity, I put people's identity if they put it along with their letter. Also, I tried giving this section a rusty new edge by bringing back Co-responders, but no one wants to do that. Rats.

I believe that the Fan Art section needs more art, i like the artwork on the page... but something has been bothering me about EB... WHO IS NESS'S DAD?!



The FArt section has many lovely pictures to look at. But again, it's only going to be as good as the people who send it in. What's wrong with the title?...

Hi, my questions is about the battery inside the cartridge...

is it possible to replace it, because I have lost all data for two times now, ad frankly it's driving me crazy!!



I guess there could have been a variety of sarcastic answers, but that would have been mean. I'm pretty sure you're going to have to buy a new cartridge. You can find a bunch of eBay auctions for the EB Cart in the Merchandise section.

Hmmm... About the website... Well, lets see here... This site is pretty much great, and most of the staff has been doing their part, so i'll just say... Hi guys! Um, nice site! Uh, uhhh... LONG LIVE EARTHBOUND!!!!! Oh, and you should get more videos from SSBM. Thats about it.



We like to feel good about ourselves. Thanks for the letter. I'm sure Tomato is still looking for videos nonstop again, and he doesn't even realize it.

The Fan Comics section desperately needs more stuff. A great deal of the content there is poorly concieved jokes that appear to have been drawn in Microsoft Paint using the default shape tools. C'mon people, have you no faith in your own drawing abilities? Hurry up and make some comics!



Paint is ALWAYS the easy way to gain fame and fortune when making a piece of Fan Comics. It's easy to see which ones took effort and thought. SO JUST TRY YOUR HARDEST! Now that you have morale support, there are some comics every so often in the AOE contests. So if you want more comics, check out that section.

i think poems and songs needs way more content. I have a bunch but they are not submit whateverish. i wish someone sould runn it. super budah needs to stop on by the poems and songs



HELLO DIOSPADRE THIS IS GOD. That was a popular line back in the day before Poems and Songs were converted and then axed. I really don't think another staffer is necessary for this job. I honestly think we can all multitask a lot better. But don't look at me! So you'll have to hold on to your Poems and Songs for now. If you have an EB page, put them on that. That's exclusive content.

I don't visit #starmen very often, but I'm told you guys aren't very funny in there. So, BE FUNNY so guru can update with your FUNNY things. Just don't hurt yourself.

I think the Fan Games/Fan Apps section needs some more content. It would be awesome to see many more EarthBound-Inspired Games and Applications.

Yes Fan Games are fun unless they don't work. But fortunately they all basically work well. But this is also up to the fans and visitors to do this. And I'm sure it isn't a breeze to just pull out an EB Fangame or Application.

Here's a question. If you go back in time you must become a robot right? Well what about the Exit mouse? If you go back in time with an exit mouse will he miracuiouslly live? And if so.. Why didn't Andonuts change the team into little Exit Mice! Those things are pretty cute.



Naw, you see, it just crawls inside your brain and lives there, and then tells you where to go out of the cave. Exit Mice are powerful.

I like the Flukes section. If Matrix updates sometime soon, there won't be any content problems.



Matrix's name is Luke right? I sure hope so. Anyways, I think Matrix wants to get fired. So I don't know if you'll get that update any time soon.
