Play EarthBound again! How was it?

Letter of the Week

All right! I'm sure you've been eagerly awaiting to hear some of the tales of my recent EarthBound adventures. You must realize that, after seven years, I still have not ceased to play the game regularly. This is why I have memorized it. Anyway, here's a brief listing of cool things from my last week or so of play...

(1) I got a pizza from a Skate Punk! It's a 1/128 item, so it's just like getting the Sword of kings, only cooler because I wasn't trying to.

(2) Have you ever tried just leaving the mushroom on your head and not having it removed? It's pretty fun. The controller's wacky, plus you have the added challenge of occasionally attacking yourself. Also, have you ever tried to talk to the kid with a mushroom on his head in the Twoson hotel when you have one on your own head too? No? Well, I have. You should too. Of course, it's only temporary; without the aid of hacking/game genie, you can't keep the mushroom forever, you'll lose it at a Your Sanctuary or something...

(3) Fighting Annoying Old Party men is still, after all these years, inexplicably fun. Can someone explain why? I can't.

* The Artist Formerly Known As CPTCrunch is reeling.

(4) I just can't get enough of using Chickens, especially in battle. It's like:

* The Lil' UFO shot a beam that causes night-time stuffiness! Ness caught a cold!
* The Mobile Sprout tried PSI Magnet a! The Teddy bear does not have any PP!
* A chicken ran away as fast as it could. (Insert sound effect here.)
AahaahahaaaHAHAAAAHAHAH Ooo... my jaw is tired! Yes, it's worth 110 bucks. Quit looking at me like that.

(5) EarthBound's quotes, especially from random NPC's, are just so much fun. It's one of the things that really sets EarthBound apart from any other RPG in existence. I could just quote them all day... I also think this is one of the things that seriously enhances EB's replay value. I can't fully explain it, but I've never gotten tired of EB, whereas I have gotten tired of plenty of other games that are supposed to have tons of replay value (all FF games, all Zelda games, sports games, Ogre battle, etc... all fun games, but you can only play them so much. I dunno...)

Yeah, yeah, I'm okay... just leave me here to cry into my cappucino! Nosy!

(6) You know that guy who demands you give him somethin' before he'll let you go talk to Everdred? Did you ever give him the Pair of dirty socks? I do it all the time. Never fails to crack me up.

(7) Have you ever tried to leave the Belch base after you get in, and then go in again? You should. You get to hear the ""belch"" sound, and he goes: ""If you don't mind taking it in the shorts, go on in!""

(8) If you stay here too long, you'll end up frying your brain. Yes, you will. No, you will... not. Yesno, you willwon't.

(9) Another thing that sets EarthBound apart: Digging through trash cans for food and stuff like Death rays and Broken bazookas. Man, I wish I could find a broken bazooka in a trash can... but all I ever find is rotten fruit and the occasional hobo...

(10) Even though I'm just a pile of bleached bones, I can talk and I'm lonely out here in the desert.

(11) For all the EarthBound I've played, and it's almost definitely far more than anyone else in the world has, I STILL haven't found that cursed Goddess Ribbon. I have to have fought 5,000 Ghosts of Starman by now in my lifetime. At least. It's driving me nuts.

(12) What's YOUR record for most Starman Supers before you get the Sword of kings? Mine is 1,277. And you think I'm making that up...

(13) Zombie paper really works, so I hope someone comes up with ""pretty girl paper."" Oops, that wasn't a nice thing to say.

(14) Hey, how did you kids get tickets? What are you, the owner's kids or something?

(15) Two words: Ego orb.

(16) I should have come with you guys as a robot. What a story that would have been... ""Scientist and four kids save the world!"" Hahahahah!

(17) Some of the items are so much fun. I love doing stuff like this: ""Paula used the Monkey love. Suddenly, a monkey came along, and pinned the enemy down with its tiny monkey body. It did not work on Giygas!""

(18) Only once did I successfully fight enough crows and dogs and sell enough cookies and bread rolls to make enough money to bring a T-Rex's bat back to Threed with me, when you control Jeff in Winters. It took about five hours. And man, it was SO not worth it. And yet I remember it fondly... everyone should have to do that once.

(19) I spent almost six years desperately searching for the Broken antenna before PK Hack finally confirmed that the Uncontrollable sphere has it. There is still an emptiness inside that I never found it on my own.

(20) Whoops... I was almost gonna beat you up.

Also, I'd like to address your response to my mailbag entry last week, since it fits in with this week's topic, at least in the twisted remains of what now passes for my mind. You mentioned in quite a few instances that I don't use PK Hack enough, as evidenced by my list of things in EarthBound that disapointed me. This brings me to something I wanted to address anyway...

(WARNING: INCOMING RANT, ESCAPE WHILE YOU CAN)

I've messed around with PK Hack pretty extensively since its creation a few years ago, and I've very much enjoyed it. It's absolutely fantastic to be able to mess around with EarthBound, and a simple Mailbag entry cannot contain the number of hilarious (to me, at least) things I've been able to do with it. However, I feel very strongly about the fact that once you've used PK Hack on it, it ain't EarthBound anymore. Granted, whatever you do to EarthBound with it can be a ton of fun, and I've had just oodles of fun with it. But the biggest evil of PK Hack is that I fear very few people are actually playing EarthBound, the original EarthBound, anymore, but are rather playing with PK Hack instead. I have nothing against playing with PK Hack; Lord knows I've done as much of it as anybody. But I wish people would play EarthBound more often, because it is one heck of a fun game in its own right.

And people really ought to blow the dust of the ol' SNES and play it on there, if they can. I've been using an emulator for the past few months, since I don't have my SNES at school with me, and it's great for a few things (mainly, easily used multitask code and the wonderful fast forward, which is fantastic for RPG's), but I do miss the SNES. Can't really explain it, but it just isn't the same experience without the TV and the ol' SNES controller that still smells vaguely like the cleaning fluid my mom spilled on it in 1999 (but that's another story.)

OK, I think I'm done ranting now. You can now emerge from your rant shelters. But you really ought to play EarthBound sometime. I mean, really play it. But hey, to each his own... I realize I'm writing to a fellow PK Hack fanatic here :P

Hey, hey!! Stop putting your grimy fingerprints all over my car, you little punk!

--The Artist Formerly Known As CPTCrunch

Congratulations on writing a Letter of the Week! You knew that someday, your insane and insanely cool lists would have to score Letter of the Week. It was the true-letter accompaniment that helped, too. So, I suppose I’ll do what I always do and conquer these problems one at a time.

1) So? I got a Hamburger from a Pogo Punk!
2) Yay! Fun new challenge!
3) GuyInSummers is wobbly.
4) If I may quote of the finest EASY Trivia answers of all time...”Use the chicken?! The chicken and I have a genuine relationship!” ...or something like that.
5) Without a doubt, this is one of the huge things that makes EarthBound EarthBound.
6) Nope.
7) Holy moo! I never knew that! After all my years of hacking, I never knew that!
8) Emoclew ot Edisnoom!
9) Say hi to the hobo for me!
10) Bleached bones make good pets.
11) Well, that’s perfectly...did you say FIVE THOUSAND?
12) Er...I never...got the...leave me alone!
13) When you invent it, can I borrow some?
14) Yes.
15) Yes.
16) Let’s make it a scientist, four kids, one dog, and the hobo!
17) One word. Monkey Love
Wetnosaur. Eh? How many words?
18) Another thing for the To Do list.
19) Heh.
20) Just try it.

Well, that’s a good perspective. I guess it’s been forever since I played an unhacked EB. It sure can be fun hacking the living heck out of the game, for some more than others (yay us!), but to every dude his own. Maybe I should spend some time with good ol’ not-hacked EB. I think I will this week.

--GuyInSummers

Happy Bob

Despite my lack of a holiday weekend (curse my Canadian government!) I dusted off the ol' keyboard and fired up my copy of EarthBound. I don't actually own the cart, so it's a "whatever works" sort of deal. Having done a little experimentation, I've actually discovered that you can optomize your keyboard layout so that you only use your left hand - just like the SNES controller. Put the directional pad on WASD, the L button on Q, and the Select button on the space bar. Voila! You can now write poetry and enjoy a beverage while playing your illegally gained copy of EarthBound. Not that I'd ever condone that, of course.

But that's only just one of the things I enjoy about EarthBound. I decided to start a new game, because the next thing I personally enjoy is naming my characters. In the past, I've named them after me and my friends, or after SM.Net regs who happen to be cool; this time, I decided to go for something of a Smash Bros. theme. So now Ness is Fox (cuz he's cool,) Paula is Samus (cuz she's my favourite female fighters [which is alliteration] and one of my favourites overall besides), Jeff is Luigi (cuz they're both always overlooked), and Poo is Marth (cuz he's from the East). My dog is named Kirby, my favourite food is Tomato (as in "Maxim") and my thing is H4mm3r. Tres l33t, oui?

Next came the actual playing of the game. I thought I'd see if I could make it to Twoson before the mailbag updated. Then I also thought I'd try to get into as few fights as possible, something Tomato (as in "don't fire me") has recommended before. Well, a half-hour of trying different ways of fighting Titanic Ant later, I decided that there is no possible way to beat that sucker without levelling up somewhere. As of this writing, I'm level 5, and I've only fought seven enemies (all the bosses, plus the Sharks leading to Frank, plus a Coil Snake and a Spiteful Crow.) I've only got Hypnosis and Lifeup. Every battle turns out the same: Titanic Ant bites me twice and I die.

To cut a long story short, I stopped playing and dropped in to write this letter. But once I finish writing, I'm gonna drop right out again, raise some levels, and go back to Titanic Ant. And just before I swat him, I'm gonna say, "Hey, Ant... remember me?"

Ahhh, to be young and vengeful again... if I were American, I'd be thankful for the opportunity to go back and kill insects who used to be annoying. Because that's what EarthBound, and life in general, is all about: Levelling up and killing insects.

ps blah blah feelings love blah blah tears magic blah blah friendship nostalgia blah blah blah. Now that my letter is 90% sappier, you can give me LotW. ;)

--SimonBob

You know, I was going to give it to you, but since you bribed me with a dash of love and a side of magic, I changed my mind. (Kidding! KIDDING!) It seems your letter reminded me of the EarthBound Funtastic Gameplay 200X. And that’s just about exactly what I was after. It was almost a story of how you treated EarthBound and how the ant beat the living pie out of you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I have to get to level 19 before I smaaash the spider on my keyboard.

~GiS

Moley Cow

I played EarthBound again. And I remember what it was all about now. Even though I've already beaten it, it still felt like new to me. Even though I knew something was already going to happen, it was still a surprise. The nostalgia that is EarthBound is greater than even Casablanca. I cant get enough EarthBound now. Now if you'll excuse me I have 5 moles to go trounce....

--Ranger1

Sometimes I just like to not play a game for a few months so that I can be surprised once in a while when I play it. Oh, and tell the moles I’m holding their father hostage and if they don’t give you the key, I’ll have no choice but to slap the king of Dover.

~GiS is not insane

Long Lif Urfbownd!

What I usualy do, is when I get board of EB, I put it up on the shelf in my closet or somthing, then leave it there for like 6 months. Then I play it again, and I always get that wonderful feeling that can only be desribed as a super-ultra-mambo-tango-foxtrot-EB feeling. As for EarthBound losing its touch, well its kept it for over seven years, so I dout it'll lose it anytime soon. LONG LIVE EARTHBOUND!!!

--STAREYe

STAREYe agrees with me. Nothing like a little hiatus so that the next time you play, you’ll get that magical feeling again. Or, as he describes it, that super-ultra-mambo-tango-foxtrot-EB feeling. Indeed.

~GiS

No Cheaters Allowed

Hi GIS! :D

Between school and the many crazy things I do, when I get to sit down and play EarthBound it IS a vacation. I mean, besides skirting around the game looking for my next theory for the Mother 2 section, or taking snaps here and there for certain reasons.

To actually sit down and play Earthbound by myself, for as long as I want with no cheats and nobody around.. it is the best. I get to do that whenever I have time (which seems rare). It's like playing it for the first time all over again and just remembering exactly why I love this game so much. It just gets better everytime. Then I return to Sm.net with this restored passion.

I think everyone around here should take a break from the site for like a week, go play EB and come back. It's like re-loading a brand new site in your browser! ;D Heheh

--KindarSpirit

Actually, I should really try that. Maybe I’m being a bit of a hypocrite asking everyone to play, seeing as I haven’t touched the game in a non-small amount of time. And I could sure use some more vacation!

~GiS

Uh Oh, Trouble

Ugg...in trouble.

I got bad grades so my parents didn't let me play much.

oh well.

I got up to about the part where you get Jeff before I had to leave the system for a looong time.

Here's what I decided:
Earthbound is timless and will never loose its touch. The graphics ARE bad, but after a while you feel like your in a cartoon or something. I know that sounds stupid, but you think of it that way and tell me if the concept isn't even a LITTLE fun. It gets boring once in a while, but not so boring that you wanna quit. Finally, it is NOT like I remember...its better! I forgot all about how Pokey whimpers during battle (which is very funny considering he has the guts to attempt to kill you later in the game) and how King helps you at first. Okay, better end it here so it doesn't get super long (too late) Adios!

--Dr. Jelly Donut

Despite the surprising amount of people who seem to think it’s just not quite the same, you stand out and say it’s only gotten better. I can’t exactly say for me. The truth is, I don’t even REMEMBER my first time through EarthBound. I really wish I did. So I could compare the feeling .But alas, I’ll just have to assume that like the rest, it was a more magical feeling the first time. But how would I know? Maybe it really does get better every time. I’ll have to find out.

~GiS

Pimple Cream!

Im sorry, it gave me a rash.

--MrSaturn

0 I think they make a cream for that now.

~GiS

Gaaba

YAY, I WON EARTHBOUND AGAIN. And it was just as I remembered it; the Mr. Saturns, the New Age Retro Hippies, everything. All the nostalgia DOES make me teary... *SNIFF* But, maybe they'll release it on the GAABA, like that rumor mill article said. As for loss of touch, there was no loss. Only the loss of my youth of playing it for hours upon hours upon hours upon hours...you get the idea.

--Da Foo

Now is it really a ‘loss’ if you enjoyed yourself? ...er, ok...yes...but still...let’s look at it as more of a positive investment. Now, if they DON’T release EB on GBA....it’ll get ugly. Oh, such ugly it shall get.

~GiS

We’ll Do Our Best

Well... theres no need to play Earthbound this winter break because I played and finished it 10 days ago... 9th time now... Earthbound will always be fun. I'm just wondering when there will be news on a new game... I heard snippits of information a few mouths ago.. but nothing since. I need a new Earthbound to stay happy. Please.. give me information on a new Earthbound... Please

--Matt Lantz

The community feels your pain, Matt! Unfortunately, I’m stupid. As much as I wish I could go to the nearest game developer, comically pry open his mind and feed on the gray matter until I gain all EarthBound knowledge, there is no information on a new release that cannot be found on our site. And may I be wrong, I suggest you contact KindarSpirit the EarthBound section maintainer, perhaps Skulryk of the EarthBound 64 section, or even reid himself.

~GiS

Yay Turkey

I played Earthbound, and the music in Twoson made me remember my pet turkey I had for a good five months this year. His name was..I forgot..but he was cool. He tried to kill me quite a few times (REALLY). I ended up giving him to some horsebreeders who are vegetarians. LONG LIVE TEH TURK3Y!!!1!!!1111!!

--Dudbear

I hope for the turkey’s best. Did he survive Thanksgiving? Does he celebrate thanksgiving?

~GiS

Zzzz

Ahhhh thank you for getting me to play the game again, I had forgotten the greatness of the actual game with so many ameteur sequals out.(I was almost guilty)I know you said to play it for about an hour, but I didnt stop for a bath-room break till after 22:30 hours.I just could remember the game being any better,I guess as I get older the jokes seem to make more sence. This game never gets old in my oppinion, especialy with all the different ways you can go through the game, personaly I went through the ""gain 10 lelevs befor fighting every boss"" strategy. No only all that but this game did happen to make me teary, at sertaint points.Like whenerver I lisnt to the ""8 Melodies"", or I watch Ness' Dream about when he was a baby, or how Paula's dad runs through the town at the start trying to find her.All-in-all I think this game was MUCH better the 759'th way through, it would have been better if it wasnt on a three letter word, and I would go near one of those if it wasn't for the fact my actual game had been stollen. Well I'll white talking now and leave you all alone.

--Jeff

You’re welcome! I probably should’ve have even mentioned time; I know that if I started playing EB I wouldn’t stop for a nice long time. You too suggest the game was even better this time through. All I can say...is STOP BEFORE I START PLAYING EB NOW AND NEVER STOP! Have a nice day.

~GiS

Welcome to...The EB Zone

I have just come out of the zone where weird things happen. For that afternoon when I entered the zone, the fun-ness (it's not a word, I know. Sue me.) of EB came rushing back into the little place in my head some call a brain. It astounds me of what I missed all those years I did nothing but talk about EB here. Now I have beaten it, and I have exited the EB zone. It's amazing how a game can be so fun over and over. Of course, I find this with several RPGs, but the fun-ness of EB has just hit me again like a murderer hitting me with a blunt hammer (well, not quite like that, but you get the idea). I have to admit, I am happy you made me play EB. Honestly. I'm not trying to be melodramatic, but let me show you. Playing EB is strange almost. It's set apart from all other RPGs because of its unique settings. Look at several RPGs and you get the sterotypical medieval RPG (See: BoF, FF, CT, etc.). EB is totally different. It's in real times with futuristic elements. It revisits the old ""AHH ALIENS ARE ATTACKING HELP"" theme and twists it so much just as to keep the attacking aliens but to make it unique and interesting at the same time. It's modern. It's cool. It lacks nothing in the creativity department. A good thing for me, and others, to escape the sword and magic RPGs that are so abundant. It's almost refreshing. To answer a question, it was nothing like I remember it: it was better. To tell you the truth, EB was one of the first RPGs I ever played. I look around, see all the sword and magic RPGs, and think of how cool EB is just because it's different. It was awesome. Another thing I experienced was the humour. I love it. An RPG that can make you smirk or chuckle is worth playing. I can't think of another RPG with the humour EB had. Humour is good stuff. Period.

So, yes, overall, I'm glad I played EB. The nostalgia wasn't ""OMG *sniff* THAT WAS SO AWESOME *sniff*"" so I wasn't in tears by the end, but it did make me realise how neat EB is and how separated it is from all other RPGs. As for EB losing its touch: WTF kind of question is that?

--Ness’s Cousin

Did you ever get that kind of message that’s just plain good? You know, but it just says everything you’d like to say, so that you can’t come up with a response? Uh, yeah.

~GiS

*poke* *poke*

As you requested, I played EB this weekend. It isn't quite how I remembered it- I've been playing so many other games and doing so many other things that there's hardly any time for EB. Sure, I'm nostalgic- one look at the Saturn font or the Beatles trivia question drives me wild- but I feel different. When I was first playing the game, I was so filled with awe at how much there was to see and do. Now, playing through it again, I still love it, but it feels different somehow.

Let me explain what I mean. Whenever I get to certain parts like the mole mines, I still experience the same frustrations I did the first time through. However, I feel them a different way. It's still frustrating, yes, but now I know what to do. I still get annoyed looking for the last digger, but I know that when I find him, I know exactly what he'll say and what to do against him. EarthBound is still quirky and charming, but I can't really get into it as much as I did the first time. I feel like I need something new- something similar, but something new and different at the same time.

This has given me plenty of woe, causing me to look for anything that can come close. The nearest thing I have found is Grandia for the PS-X. It doesn't feel the same, but it still has a little bit of that lovable quirkiness. Probably the one thing that I like most about that game is that certain parts can bring about memories of EB, while still giving me something new to work with.

My final verdict is: EarthBound is most lovable the first time through, but that doesn't mean that it's any worse a second or third time- just different. If you seek more, go play Grandia instead.

--PureEvilEntity

Grandia...Grandia...haven’t actually heard of it, but I’ll look into it. I’m not sure if I’m looking for more...just that familiar feeling. Mention of the Saturn font, of the trivia questions, of the (#!#$^~) mole mines...I think the feeling will still be there. Now, to play EarthBound again.

~GiS

Yay Import

Ahh yes, EarthBound.... That little gem of a game, it's so great I can barely right this, so pardon any typos or odd sentences. Anyway, in response to this weeks topic, I decided to pop in Mother 2 (Yes, the import, go me :)) and relive past memories. The memories came flooding back to me....

My first battle, Ness' PSI skills, Frank, Titanic Ant, everything. Then I had visions of Twoson and the other towns and characters. It is truly a great game, all those fond memories.

And of course the music, it's so great it brings a tear to my eye :')
It's so touching, and so, cool at the sametime, all of it's good, the Onett theme, PollyAnna, and the list goes on.

The enemies, they were so darned funny it was really funny! Master Belch, Starmen, Giygas. Ahh the memories.

Of course, there's one thing we can't forget: This Site.

EB has brought this site together, and in the process, has had many (most) people make good friends here, such as Carpainter, and EB_Girl, and poik007, and BA, and all the others. :)

I have a tear in my eye as I'm re-reading and typing this, and if you think I'm a wuss, then go play EarthBound for 4 houes, I gurantee it'll change your life, and fill you with fond, nostalgic memories. :D

I mean really, it's truly a great and memorable game, I could go on and on about this, but I choose to keep it short and to the point. All of this, the site, my online friends, this thing I'm typing up, all because of EarthBound. I salute you :')

--PsychicKid

Oo, import. Yeah, I can’t wait to hear the music again. Particularly the Twoson theme. I remember that song so well. Now, I’m going to go play EarthBound. NOW. The next person who gets in my way will pay.

Listen All

hey the owner of this site, tell every one to go to nintendo.com and submit thier art work before all of us can have a better chance to get mother3/earthbond2 on gamecube, tell them to make some fan art on nintendo.com go to nsider (on the site) and see for your self (you have to be a member thow).......

You heard the man.

Complaints

Okay, pal, clean out your ears. I've got some complaints.

First of all, this week's topic is TOTALLY Ameri-centric. News flash: You're the only guys who have Thanksgiving in November! We had ours back in October! I didn't have a clue why you were talking about playing EarthBound ""this vacation"" because for me, vacation doesn't start until a week before Christmas! You should've held this topic off until then, when pretty much everyone has a holiday.

And secondly, last week when the Captain and I made some insightful comments about IF, you brushed us off for talking about ""last week's topic."" Well, if talking about something that we didn't think about until after some debate spurred us on is bad, then we should take down the forums and only let people talk about certain things at one time. The chatroom topics should be rules rather than amusing guidelines! If the topic in #eb says ""YUO = FAT"" then we all have to talk about how fat we are! Is this the kind of website we're turning into, where free speech is oblitherated and people won't talk about what isn't scheduled? Are you some kind of dictator? What next, you'll start telling us what kind of clothes to wear?!

I don't see anything in the rules that says we have to submit a letter that refers to the topic. Also, you define ""Letter of the Week"" as ""the best letter I have received in any one-week period."" And yet you spurned me of the crown for not being related to the topic! You'd better either change the rules, or just not tell people that you were thinking of making them LotW, because I'm pretty darn mad about that.

In the meantime, since you seem to care so much more about people who write on topic, I played EB this morning from the Twoson Hotel to Burglin Park to Apple Kid's house and back to the Hotel again. And it was jolly good fun. There, now I guess I'm a candidate for your totally topic-biased LotW thing, but I'll probably lose it to someone who goes in-depth about how good they felt doing this or that or the other thing and got ""fuzzy feelings"" and all that. At least you've got something to reply to in my letter now, since you can't seem to take your mind off track when you update.

--SimonBob

And here we see SimonBob a week ago, in a very, very bad mood. I don’t think Simon wanted me to use this letter, but any opinion’s a fair one, and I thought it right to present you with all opinions.

America-centric? ...yes. That was actually a foolish topic, as I completely forgot that not everybody has vacation this week. Oh, well.

Er, as for the whole dictatorship thing...I guess maybe I took that too far, but it was something I wasn’t ready for. Y’see, I remember Mailbag a being a place of fun insanity, but recently it’s become much more serious and a chance to vent more philosophical opinions. I kinda’ forgot about the fun insanity that brought us all into EarthBound. And for that reason, I neglected many off-the-topic letters mostly because I hardly ever got any anymore. So I wasn’t ready for your and Captain’s letters. On the topic of LotW...I think that went a touch too far. It’s just sorta’ a fun little thing. Sometimes I find a non-LotW letter that really intrigues me or makes me laugh. LotW is really just a type of thank you for a thoughtful, grammatically correct, or touching letter – which could be why fuzzy letters win so much. Now, let’s put mean Simon back in is cage and continue with the rest of your happy Mailbag.

~GiS

Conclusion

Thus concludes this week. Well, it went okay. It was basically a sort of super-mini-subliminal attempt to get people to PLAY EARTHBOUND. All the letters were well written (or insane) as usual, but I only got 23. That’s...well, it could be better. So go be better! That’s about all. I need much sleep.
