Mother 2 4-Koma manga. Koma means 4 panel black and white manga (but does have exceptions and some manga does have colored pages, but usually, most is B&W.) These mangas are written in japanese, but translations may be found on the web. See below for info and pictures:
Koma Manga #1:
This book consists of many 4Koma comics that are puns or gags about EarthBound. Although there are some that I do not fully understand because a lack of knowledge for the japanese language, but there are some they are drawn well and do not need words to know what they are joking about; mainly when Ness is diggin' around the trash for a hamburger or when the Cameraman gets hurt (more often than not.) - !
The book has about 15 different styles of drawing, so I'm assuming there were quite a few artists that worked to assemble this book. It is all in black and white, which is common through out all forms of manga. 4Koma (4 Panel) is basically the japanese form of our 'newspaper funnies.' - so they are all quite enjoyable and based off of EarthBound to boot!
Also, there were alot of name and item changes, such as 'The Octopus Statue Erasing Machine' instead of 'The Pencil Eraser.' - some keep such changes in mind when looking through some of the scanned images. Also, there may be some references to Japanese cultures through out the comics, so some research may be in order to understand some as well.
