Anyway, Final Starmen only appear in the Cave of the Past, so Ness & co. must've scrapped 'em all. Then the Giygan engineers had to start from scratch, and they only got as far as Starman DX before Ness blew up the Stonehenge base. And finally, they started work for the third time, and only got around to building one Starman Jr. to go after Buzz Buzz from the future! Are these the engineers of eternal doom, or what??

There is only one Final Starman, and once it is defeated in battle, it regenerates, feeding off the scraps of other robots. If you ever face more than one Final Starman at a time, it's because... one of the Final Starmen is actually a Starman Deluxe.

Do you want the reasonable one or the stupid one? I'll go with both. Firstly, there is only one starman deluxe because he is easy to destroy. He was a failed project, so the dumped him in the stonehenge base to rust. He took it over, and was acting independantly from Giygas. The stupid theory? There is only one Starman Deluxe because I said so.

Only one Starman DX was made to begin with. Before Gygas could give the order to build more, he was sidetracked by Ness's meddling. Before he could give the order to build more, Ness destroyed the origional. After seeing how weak SMDX was he decided to build a stronger one- the Final Starman. He could build so many because he went millions of years farther back than Ness.

This is like asking "Why does nintendo keep dishing out those lame pokeman thingies!" Simple! The StarMen wanted to have one leader, but the leader mass-produced the Final Starmen to carry on his work, so no matter how many of them Ness and the others smashed up, there would always be more.

The Final Starmen are in the cave of the past, so they were made from ancient technologies that were lost. Probably some evil people from Atlantis made them. In the future, the Final Starmen technology is only just being rediscovered, hence the similar, but obviously inferior, Starman DX. Or maybe it was just a clever marketing scheme. "Starman DX" sounds more powerful than "Final Starman", so the company that made Starman DX charged much more money, even though it isn't as good! This meant Giygas could only afford one Starman DX. The company that made Final Starmen should get better advertisers.

See, it was 1989 and Giygas was working undercover for the FBI at a factory. He was trying to find out the new prototype of a secret robotic robot thing! Suddenly an evil guy poored toxic waste on him and he turned into a big scary PEICE OF WALLPAPER!!! Gasp! Anyway, now for my theories submission. Giygas bought a factory from some guy named Bill Grates or something like that... Anyway, He made tons of Final Starmen, Starmen, Ghosts of Starman, Starman JRs. Finally when he made the Starman DX the machine malfunctioned and so did all of the Starman JRs except for 1. And that is my theories submission. Yep... You can stop reading now... STOP IT!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Well, before Belch protected the Fly Honey factory, he worked at the brand new Starman DX factory. The first day he was operating a machine during his lunch break and spilled Fly Honey all over the controls. The factory suddenly blew up and like in all the movies, Belch ran out the door and dove at the last second as the factory engulfed into a towering inferno behind him. (Insert Slow-Motion Replay Here)Well, since the Starmen DX factory blew up after making only one unit, Giygas ordered that it would be too expensive to make another DX factory. So, they just increased production at the Starman Final plant, and Belch was fired. That is why he works at his own factory now.

Do you know how hard it is to make Deluxe models? First of all how are Starmen born? They are genetically bred. It seems by some strange twist of nature that Final Starman DNA is simpler than Starman DX DNA. Only one man has been able to fully understand the complexity of Starman DX DNA and now he's in the nut house because after creating the only Starman DX the formula finally got to him and blew his mind. Frankly after that we're all afraid to even look at the formula...

This all is the problem of hiring from outside the pre-set workforce. When you just start hiring random starmen off the street with some phony degree in special ability psi ability, you end up with a set of lower management starmen who cannot competently beat up small psychic children and are forced to be laid off or blown to itsy bitsy dust motes that make wooshing sounds as they dissipate. This leaves the workers who have spent years of service to go up into the higher ranks leaving the pre said middle management with no labor force and the force toward open market hiring. Brave new world with such starmen in it...

I think that DX was the supreme starman and had the most power so their could only be one of them for obvious reasons. (too difficult, something rare inside him, etc.) Now, the name may be final starman but that doesn't mean he is ths strongest which he isn't and I think their could be multiple because they are weaker and inferior and by the way, it's just a name.

Maybe because the Starman Deluxe is the strongest and the boss of all the other starmen. As for the Final Starman... They are really strong and it maybe the Final Starman you ever will fight. If you know what I mean.

Clones!!! Of course, all of the Starman Supers are clones of the first one you meet. Giygas assumed that the Starman DX would beat you with no problem, so he didn't bother to make a back-up. Then, after you beat him, he pumped all his technology into making a better Starman, but unknown to him, Pokey (By that time, Pokey was Giygas's right-hand man) was stealing research money to get hamburgers. Giygas THOUGHT he made a new ultimate weapon, but the Final Starmen just sukt. He then made a ton, to make sure that what happened the first time didn't happen again.

Starman DX is made out of super expensive silver colored diamond! So giygas only had the cash to make 1. Final starman are made out of gold colored tin foil reniforced with force fields. which are much cheaper than the silver colored diamond stuff. So giygas made thousands of them.
