As Poo prepares to lose his sight, the spirit suddenly cuts away his hearing. For Poo, this comes as a great shock, in both the loss of his ability to hear as well as the realization of one of his greatest weaknesses.

With most of his body cast aside, Poo trembles before the spirit. As his body has refused to listen to him, it is all too willing to help the spirit in the removal of Poo's sight.

With the loss of his eyes, Poo is thrown into darkness. The darkness becomes nothingness, which becomes what Poo wanted from the start. At least, he has arrived at Mu.

Poo's mind begins to grasp hints of his inner voice, as he struggles to not become lost in the darkness. The spirit, wishing to take Poo's mind, has opened the door to what lies underneath all of the thoughts within him. All must become nothingness so that the true voice can be heard.

With his mind broken down, the spirit possesses Poo and awakens his inner self. Although the possession is brief, it is enough to set fire to Poo's inner desire to protect. His true self is revealed, and he is deemed worthy as a future ruler of Dalaam.
