Of all the concepts I love about Mother 2/ Earthbound, I love Mach Pizza. The only thing I don't like are the prices, the fact that the medium pizza is almost always none existant & that you have to wait three minutes for the delivery boy to arrive. But it is so worth it. Done in 0.5 mechanical pencil, sharpie, & Prismacolor colored pencils

A shark punk striking a victory pose after his most recent act of debauchery in the busy little town of Onett.
----------------------------------------------------------------- Comments ----- When going about making what eventually became the final product, he was originally going to be Yes Man Jr., but somewhere along the way, I couldn't get his hula hoop just right & his knees began to bend a little too far down; almost as if he was doing a Super Sentai (Power Rangers) pose. So, not ready to give up just yet, I decided to make him a custom Shark Punk after seeing a pic of the sold out figurine. I considered many options for his shirt such as the 1+2 sign & the outline of Mr. Saturn's face that I had recently seen on Zazzle. But neither seemed to work & the 1+2 sign seemed a little over done. So I decided on a comic book "POW", classic & effective. Overalls were yet another whim, after not wanting to pain him completely blue like his Earthbound counterpart. |
