As the Masked Man suffers from the nightmare, a voice calls out to him. He awakens, having delusional thoughts that it could have been his mother. But it is only Laurah, the Pigmask Major from the night before, telling him its time to go pull the next Needle.

Yep, that Pigmask Major is a woman. The game never says that the Pigmasks can't be women.
