One of the first guides to be released. Broken up into chapters each containing maps, well outlined objectives, and what enemies you will encounter. Sorely missing is item locations on each map. At the end of the the final chapter is a small explanation about how Mother 3 and Mother 2 connect. There is an item and enemy database towards the end of the guide. And finally at the very end of the guide is an index section for quickly finding certain items or events.
This guide is pretty text heavy, especially in the outlined objections, and in the item and enemy database. So a non-Japanese speaker may not find this guide all that useful, except maybe for the maps. Written in Japanese, 208 pages, in full color. Originally sold on June 120th, 2006 for 950 Yen.
