Information:
Shigesato Itoi’s company store, Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun, released a red iPhone 5 case with the MOTHER 2 logo on it late December of 2012. Made out of polycarbonate with a gloss finish and Selling for ¥2500, which is about $28, this could be purchased directly from the store or via online. There is no screen protector near the camera hole, and there are no holes for attaching charms or straps. Please note that this case will only fit on the iPhone 5 and no other previous versions of the iPhone.

The first version of this case was originally only sold in the actual Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun store around the end of December. This case had the copyright information on the side, which was apparently a misprint. Anyone who had bought one of these during that time could exchange them for the new version which has nothing on the sides.
