While looking at this you wouldn't think it was a metal cover album of video game music. But it is, and a pretty good one too. This is a fan made, or Doujin, album. The games covered are Suika, Daibanchou - Big Bang Age, Unreal Tournament, Melty Blood, Final Fantasy, Thunder Force III, MOTHER 2, Guilty Gear XX, Darius Gaiden, and one original. All tracks tracks are performed by Jesus is Dead.
Track 08 is the only MOTHER track on this album and is a simple cover is of the Bus Theme. As far as the other tracks go, this one is sadly the most uninspired. All of the other tracks are fast paced metal covers, while this one is merely a slow and simple fan cover that you feel like you have heard before. And it's not even a metal cover. So this track sticks out from all the others and not in a good way. In short: The album is not worth getting just for this one MOTHER 2 track. It is however, worth it for all of the other amazingly well done metal covers.
