Hi+happy new year got a game here I’ve been working on for awhile about this website and I figured I’d make a thread about it since the latest version feels a lot more complete than any past versions over the last 20 years. Most of the members you’ll see in the game don’t really post here anymore and some probably haven’t since as early as 2005 so some parts of the game can be a bit of a time capsule.
Obviously I haven’t worked on it every single day since I started back then (2002-03ish?) there was maybe an 8 ish year gap where I didn’t do anything significant with it but other than that and especially the last 2-3 years I’ve been making a ton of progress. If you like really difficult jrpgs about websites then hopefully this will be the best one of those you’ll ever play!
Over the years I got a bit bored of playing as members I haven’t talked to in over a decade so I made alternates for a few. You can now get yelled at by Tomato and save reidman as Terra(4671), Zero(0000), or Princess Daisy(9562)! Just enter their secret codes on the character select screen. You can also enter 8008 for a secret hardmode but I’d strongly recommend not doing that on your first playthrough! (I still haven’t beat hardmode myself yet)
The game has a beginning, middle, and ending right now but I can’t call it “complete” yet. It ends a bit abruptly and there’s clearly a larger goal (of rescuing reid) that has yet to be accomplished but there is definitely an ending with postgame content even right now so feel free to check it out if you want.
