Onett Side View
The Onett Drugstore and hills seen from a semi-realistic side view, in EarthBound style. All of the buildings, cliffs, and trees from the original game map have been modified and reassembled to appear as if being seen from Ness' eyes.
I didn't use 3-point perspective because I wanted to give it a more platformer/Smash Bros. style. I've probably wanted to do this since I saw the Onett stage in Melee.
At first, I did not consider this fan art and uploaded it solely for view on the sprite topic, but Jonk suggested I should submit it, so why not?
