Third Place-winning entry of Zip Cod Ness's Aug. 2005 Apple of Enlightenment revival. The theme/ prompt was "What if there was a blizzard in Summers?". Here, I figured, if there was a blizzard in Summers, why not go all the way and have a major freeze, even extending out to the surrounding waters? This would mean no boat ride to Scaraba, so the Chosen Four would have to bundle up and walk there. But with such a glorious triple pun of a title, you can forget about what lurks under the waves...

ozwalled	Forest of the Chimera box	Some boxart for Mother 3: Forest of the Chimera that was entered into a contest run by Nesskid. Though the subtitle was dropped before the game was even even on display at Spaceworld, I always thought it to be intriguing.	8/18/05
ozwalled	Knights to meet ya'!	Phantom Knight. I thought this Mother 3 enemy was kind of cool, and had tried to draw it before, but never found I did it justice. Then I thought of its "Phantom Knight" name, thought of putting the ghost in there, and I thought it really came together. I especially like the way the ghost is coming out of the helmet through the hole in the faceguard thing. This was a pleasure again to do, given my childhood fascination with medieval stuff and swords and sorcery type high fantasy. Done with pencil, a pen, and "Touch" markers.	9/17/07
