The Artist Spotlight is a showcase of an individual fan artist's collective works that display high dedication to EarthBound and above average artistic ability. Every artist chosen for the spotlight has shown immense creative and artistic progress and has created works that look at EarthBound from new and varying angles and brought life back into the 10-year-old SNES game we all cherish.

A new artist will be chosen on the 15th and last day of every month.

I'll have to apologize for those of you who are avoiding Mother 3 art: you won't get to see as much this time. However, I do so love his style, and he's made some really superb stuff for the MOTHER series. As his name suggests, he is a fan of Kirby, but as Hal worked with both titles, there's a lot that coincides stylistically. His art is very cute and simple, using bolder outlines and colors to empower a feeling of friendship, silliness, and overall happiness. This laid-back atmosphere is definitely in the MOTHER series, but Kine's work speaks for itself. I especially like his Mother 3 pieces that integrate parts of EB64 -- they show a cool halfway point between the two very different styles that make for a nice 'parallel universe' feeling. If you're saving Mother 3 stuff for later, definitely remember to browse Kine's art for later!
