The Artist Spotlight is a showcase of an individual fan artist's collective works that display high dedication to EarthBound and above average artistic ability. Every artist chosen for the spotlight has shown immense creative and artistic progress and has created works that look at EarthBound from new and varying angles and brought life back into the 10-year-old SNES game we all cherish.

This month's Artist Spotlight goes to shiroandfubuki! Miss Shiro has graced us with her amazing art for a long time now. Her tool of the trade is mostly digital, and her subject choices often consist of the gentle mother of twins Lucas and Claus, Hinawa; along with various other MOTHER 3 characters. Shiro often uses a great blend of symbolism and style to tell a story with her art, and it always gives the viewer a sense of awe and wonder at the subject matter. My favorite part of Shiro's art is her use of color and composition in all of her works. Her details often take up the entire canvas, sometimes often going off-page and leaving us art-appreciators wondering how far the story reaches. Shiroandfubuki's storytelling can often focus on dark and lighter subjects, both being drawn out extremely well. Thank you so much for continuing to gift us with your artistic endeavors, Shiro!
